Groups we have brought to this stage include Orchestra Baobab, Daara J, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Morgan Heritage, Habib Koite, Wasis Diop, Orchestra Aragon, Salif Keita, Youssou N'Dour and Baaba Maal. • In 2008, we have created one of Dakar's hottest summer parties - DK South, featuring turntable master DJ Rakim, rising hip hop star Canabasse and Dakar's most original live visuals by Bass (Studio Sankara) at K-Club and Senat / Meridien. TEACHING, LECTURING and RESEARCHSorbokane consultant Katharina Lobeck Kane (Dr. in Ethnomusicology) has lectured on subjects including Music Studies, World Music and the International Music Market.
