Seeing what makes people tick.....Oh wait, yeah I'm supposed to say what I like doing when I'm not cuttin' hair huh? Photography (outdoors), music/singing, cooking, reading, movies, billiards, hiking, dirtbiking/4wheelin, exploring, meandering/traveling and watching/encouraging my girls in thier evolving process....that enough? Seems like a lot when you type it out like that. Having listed all that I have to say, there's really not much I won't try at least once...well with the exception of skydiving/bungee jumping nooooooooo!
I'd like to meet:
People who are comfortable in their own skin, not arrogant and are unassuming. I really like meeting new people, the question is do I want to hang out with them again? I'm pretty laid back so running into someone who makes my head hurt...eeehhh , not so much! I find root canals more entertaining... It's a shame there isn't an abundance of people with more dimension than just one who are truely interested in someone other than themselves. People who actually know how to be a friend....

Music:
Oh, you name it. You'd be suprised at what you'll find in my collection...no, really you would! I promise...just come look!
Movies:
I am a HUGE movie lover!! My favorites are ususally the weird ones that come on really late that either no one else has seen/heard of or really hated...I probably watch 4 or 5 movies a week so I have seen a lot.....
Television:
Not much of a TV person and DEFINITELY NO REALITY TV!!! Can't really say there's much actual TV I watch unless there's a tornado warning and I am listening to whichever weather guy isn't annoying...

******************************************I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, no.
It is not for me to take away,
but for you to give up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, no.
His spirit is whole,
his body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, no.
Patience is the byproduct of tribulation;
it isn’t granted, it is learned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, no.
I give you blessings;
happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, no.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares,
and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, no.
You must grow on your own;
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, no.
I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me love others as much as he loves me.
God said.........
Ahhhh, finally you have the idea!

Books:
I have been reading Stephen King since I was in grade school and have read all but his latest. I tend to read 4 or 5 at a time but they are usually completely different from each other. I like poetry,restoration period/regency/suspense thrillers/history, but will read pretty much anything.....
Heroes:
My Dad and my Grandma who are both gone but will never ever be forgotten......Of course the main hero in my life is Jesus who is finally getting through my incredibly thick skull!!!!
