Timothy Fryar is the founder and Pastor of Christ Centered Church in Douglasville, Georgia. Pastor Tim is an anointed man of God with a fresh word for the Kingdom. Additionally, Timothy is a psalmist, noted songwriter, composer, producer, music director, and worship leader with a powerful and prophetic anointing.Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, Timothy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Z. D. Harris. It was during those years that he realized his passion for not only the preached word, but the gospel through music as well. In 1991, Timothy moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta where he majored in Music Entertainment Management.Under the leadership of Bishop Johnathan and Pastor Toni Alvarado of Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, GA, he was shaped into the pastor and musician that he is today. Some of his recording production credits include Restored (featuring Candy Staton), Voices of Inner Strength of Emory University, and he has also co-produced the projects of Johnathan Alvarado & Total Grace and John Croslan, II & IMC. Daryl Coley, Johnathan Alvarado, and Richard Smallwood are only a few of the many well-known gospel artists whom he has accompanied either as an instrumentalist or choir director.
Bishop Johnathan Alvarado licensed Timothy to preach the Gospel in 1996.
Prior to answering the pastoral call on his life, Timothy faithfully displayed his commitment to God and His people by serving as Media Director and Worship Leader at Destiny World Church, formerly Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia under the pastorate of Wilbur T. Purvis, III. Timothy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership and Biblical Education from Beulah Heights Bible College.Pastor Tim has been granted the awesome favor of God upon his life which reveals itself in the anointing wherewith he ministers, whether through preaching and teaching or in songs of praise and worship to God. Pastor Tim is certainly a man on a mission uniquely appointed to empower people to replace a self-centered life with a Christ-centered life.Pastor Tim balances his life and ministry as the dedicated husband of Khyalynn Fryar and the proud father of Megan, Kendall, Kyle, and Johnathan.
