Entropia es una banda de metal progresivo colombiana que pretende demostrar que la musicalidad y el virtuosismo pueden ir de la mano. Sus composiciones son propuestas honestas de cada uno de sus integrantes y sus letras van enfocadas a las distintas dimensiones del ser humano.
2005 – El grupo se conforma
2006 – Entropia graba su primer EP “…of human introspectionâ€
2007 – Entropia inicia la grabación de su primer album “Simetriaâ€
2008 – Entropia es escogido para grabar un CD tributo a Iron Maiden original de EMI Music titulado "The Golden Beast, A tribute from Colombia to Iron Maiden"
2008 – Entropia es segundo lugar en el festival “The Troopers†para telonear a Iron Maiden
2008 – Entropia es elegida para participar en el festival gratuito al aire libre más grande de Latinoamérica, Rock al Parque
2008 – Entropia participa en el Festival de Bandas de la Revista Shock
2008 – Entropia recibe 4 nominaciones a los Premios Subterránica del Metal
2008 – Entropia estrena teclista en Noviembre, Gabriel Chaparro
2009 – Entropia recibe el tercer lugar entre 133 bandas en el concurso X-time Rock

Entropia is a Colombian progressive metal band that wants to show that feeling and musicality can be in perfect harmony with virtuosity. Its compositions are honest expressions of each of its members. Its lyrics show distinct dimensions of the human mind.
2005 – The band is born
2006 – Entropia records its first EP “…of human introspectionâ€
2007 – Entropia starts recording its first album “Simetriaâ€
2008 – Entropia is chosen to record an original Iron Maiden tribute CD called "The Golden Beast, A tribute from Colombia to Iron Maiden"
2008 – Entropia is second place at “The Troopers†festival to be the opening act for Iron Maiden
2008 – Entropia is chosen to participate in the biggest free outdoor festival in Latin America, “Rock al Parque†(Rock at the Park)
2008 – Entropia participates in the Shock magazine festival
2008 – Entropia recieves 4 nominations in the “Subterranica†awards
2008 – Keyboardist Gabriel Chaparro enters the band
2009 – Entropia gets third place from 133 bands at the X-time band festival
