About Me

..ZENINZION, began as a 4 piece including guitar players Jake Coughlin, Eli Schreiner, drummer Lyle Buckalew and Vocalist Evan Joda. After tearing up a couple of local venues and a benefit show in Big Timber with the late, great HERZOG, the band picked up bass player Aaron "Moose" Nicholson. Thus, ZENINZION was born. On Halloween of '05, the band took stage for the first time together and their power could not be denied. The Zion boys immediately started playing numerous shows and began building a dedicated and loyal fan base (You crazy ass motherfuckers!) Songs such as "Land of the Free", "Behind the Door", and "Xenaphobe" helped create the sound that nobody could label. These among others are what led ZENINZION to the Road Dog's Battle of the Bands in May '06 and placed first after a 2 day battle. In November of '06, guitarist Eli Schreiner decided to leave the band for reasons of his own, but still is a big supporter of his friends in the band. ZENINZION decided to keep going as a 4 piece which opened new doors in the song writing process.

In the fall of '07 we decided to add another member to the Zion Family. Kenny Cheek former guitarist of Corrupted Influence, joined the band and gave a whole new dimension to the music of ZENINZION. Now, heavier than ever, the Zion boys have won a spot on the 09' Project Independent Compilation album due out next year sometime. In early june of 2009 bassist Aaron(MOOSE)Nicholson decided to leave the band and start a new life, we support him in every way and he still supports the band and the direction they are headed in. Soon their music will spread like a virus nation wide and everyone will know what we have always known....Heavy Fuckin' Metal is alive and kickin' here in the Middle of Nowhere Montana.
