About Me

Let's see, I used to live in Montrose when I was involved in the theater. Then, I moved to Nac. and wanted to be a country girl, but ended up joining every group on campus at SFA, and had a blast. Wound up in Austin, loved it, but who can make a living in Austin? Moved to Wash. D.C., loved it, but who can stay away from Texas? Wound up right back home in H-town. What is God telling me? There is a lesson here. There's no place like home . . . After a stint in the Seminary where I learned what life is REALLY about, God thinks I can handle being a lawyer. How corrupt is that? Is it a sell out? I hope not, not unless I do insurance defense. I used think ART was where it's at, but really folks - how does that pay the light bill? It boils down to a right brain/left brain debate with me.

My Interests

snow skiing, being anywhere around water, painting, writing, analyzing the abstract, discussing religion, visiting art museums, photography - learning more about cooking, especially on Food Network (go Iron Chef!). You are 84% REAL Texan!!

You're way more Texan than average. You're parents were probably from here too. We're glad to have you. You probably go to the border for Christmas shopping and are well versed in BBQ, Mexican Food and .. well thats pretty much it.

How Texan Are You?

I'd like to meet:

Geena Davis, Thomas Jefferson, Michael Keaton, Tom Clancy, Clive Barker, Bono, John Grisham, Wm. Shakespeare, and of course, Matt Damon (just for the afternoon). Actually, if they would permit an interview, St. Thomas Aquinas, and my great-great uncle, Oliver Wendell Holmes. However, both would be seriously disappointed in me.

Music:

Beatles, Paul McCartney and oh yea, the Beatles, the Strokes, Weazer, Artic Monkeys, Jimmy Eat World, Third Eye Blind, Our Lady Peace, Cake, Coldplay, Howie Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Wallflowers & his dad, Goo Goo Dolls, All American Rejects, Wilco, Green Day, and TwoGuyTrio! (anybody poppish I can dance to in the kitchen) "You make me crazy" is the best song in a long time.

Movies:

Spy Game, 12 Monkeys, Harry Potter 1-4, Royal Tannenbaums, I liked Johnny Depp better in Chocolate. Patiot Games - used to live there, anything complex & engaging or whimsical & imaginative. i.e. Mary Poppins, Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang, Ordinary People.

Books:

Spy-adventures with a twist, anything about decorating (happy chi!), art history, fashion, collections of plays, travel, & photography. Same as movie preferences.
