About Me

If you are interested in going to college and furthering your education, then Berkeley City College is the place for you! Berkeley City College serves students who seek general education, transfer to four-year universities, degrees and certificates in liberal arts and occupational areas, career preparation or precollegiate skills. The student body represents a diverse mix of ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Minority students comprise approximately 53% of the student body. Our students are generally high school students enrolled in advanced courses, full-time workers, students who wish to transfer to a four-year university, and individuals who are the first in their families to attend college. Here at Berkeley City College, we can help you change your life with a wide range of classes that will fit your needs. Our mission is to promote student success, to provide a diverse community with educational opportunities, and to transform lives.
