NAFIS & THE RLGZ

Based in Newark, New Jersey, rapper, producer “Nafis” , entered the music industry as a teen. After enrolling as a communications major at New York University, Nafis began working at A local studio in Manhattan, in his spare time, but eventually he dropped out to pursue his music career. After later collaborating with artist writing and producing ( Beastie Boys, Destiny Child, Boyz II Men, Carl Thomas) he branched out as a label president and artist of Real Life Music Corp., releasing an album, Real Life Music-Clean Cut: Links Low, his independently distributed album from 2003 selling nearly 30,000 copies. As a member of RLGz, his band formed in 2005, he headlines his label with his hard core album “Highly Organized”.The Real Life Music Corp. movement is being lead off with the debut single “SeeSaw” from the album “Highly Organized”, debuted on Sirius Radio’s Shade 45, Cipha Sounds Effect, with D.J. Cipha Sounds and Angela Yee. The song is just the beginning of what to expect from the album “Highly Organized” with music that ranges from hard core rap to that original hip-hop feel. The album accompanied by a music video DVD, includes the video for the albums single “SeeSaw”. This is only the beginning of what is to come from “Nafis” and the “RLGz”.The “RLGz” (Real Life Gangstaz), a hip-hop band that consist of three young men and one lovely lady (Sammi), a band formed by Nafis in 2005, are the powerful orchestra behind the movement. Making the Real Life Music Corp. movement, that of live instrumental tracks as well as heavy based hard street beats with strong lyrical content. “Nafis” leads the band with his versatile lyrics that are supported by the bands original sounds.Nafis’s journey to this point was one with many obstacles. Though, his obstacles never discouraged him, it has made him more determined. Working non-stop in his studio based in New Jersey. Nafis is determined to bring the real back to hip-hop. “Highly Organized”, is the complete package, giving listeners a variety of rhythms while, also providing them with the accompanying videos to visualize the artists and his work.
