It all started when Ray visited the Jean Cocteau exhibition at the Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts in the summer of 2004. The exhibition had inspired him to re-discover what music really means to him. With his gaining interest in classical, avant garde jazz, avant rock, and ambient music, Ray started the 'After Ten Years It Is Forever' project to create an experimental sound that blends these various kinds of music together in an experimental and yet accessible way.
