About Me

I'm a 2005 graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Theater / Lighting Design. I light concerts and plays all around the Chicago area. I also shoot video and freelance for The Post-Tribune newspaper shooting stills. Basically, I get paid to play with toys! Sometimes I wish I had a job with a set schedule with less stress, but the constant artistic and emotional payoffs I get from my work always sweep those thoughts far away from my mind.
My recent photo work is featured in the above slide show!

My Interests

Lighting Design, Photography, Videography, Aviation, Trains, Music, Air Hogs Helicopters, Combining Mentos and Diet Coke, Getting the Rock Show, Perfection, Success At Any Level.

I'd like to meet:

The girl from the U.S. Cellular commercials with the illiterate dad! She makes my heart melt.I'd also like to wine and dine Jessica Alba, Cassie, Katharine McPhee, and Eva Longoria, in that order. If you were to ask me what my "type" is as far as girls, I'd refer you to these five fine examples.

Music:

I like it all, really. - I've played piano for the past 14 years so my music tastes are VERY broad. I don't classify music as being broken up into genres. If I like it, I listen.

Movies:

Was Conrad L. Hall the D.P.? If so, I like it.

Television:

DIRTY JOBS (I LOVE this show!) - Dogg the Bounty Hunter "Yaah gotta get off the ice, Youngblood!" - The Simpsons - Airline - Myth Busters - Family Guy - Degrassi The Next Generation (Not the wierd 80's one) - Viva La Bam - Salute Your Shorts - Hey Dude - Pete and Pete - Double Dare (Physical Challenge!) - Jackass - The Tom Green Show - Andy Milanokis (Until I found out he was 29, the humor lost its "zing" of adolescence at that point).

Books:

The Alphabet of Manliness by Maddox
