The Slidell Heat was soccer team from Slidell, Louisiana, and we were something else. The team had been together for 5 years before everyone went their separate ways. In our final season as a team, we finally put things together and were a force to be reckoned with.

We were a team like none other. We were the one team that went out there and enjoyed themselves game in and game out. If we were having fun, you couldn't stop us.
On every team there are those guys that quit. Those from the Heat are Brandon Landry, Taylor Davie, Taylor Erminger, Andrew Thompson, Matt Maroney, Nick Macera, Brenden Boudreaux, Chris Brouillette, Sean "Doobie Boy" as Hayden called him, Peter Morton, Josh "The Only One To Not Flinch In The Wall" from the team's first year together, and Zachary Hayes.
