I was raised in Southern California and spend most of my time surfing with my friends and trying to learn to play the guitar (without much success). I have been a contract computer programmer for the past 25 years. I enjoy teaching and have taught programming classes at Los Alamos National Lab and the University Of California Lawrence Berkeley Lab. I enjoy sailing and lived on a sailboat for 6 years in Redondo Beach, California before moving to New Mexico. I finally learned to play the guitar and started making and painting guitars and guitar pickguards a few years ago. So if you don't know what a "Luthier" is, it is someone who makes stringed instruments. In my spare time I raise and train Arabian Horses which explains why I am now in New Mexico.
