That said, Black Pearl Entertainment presents: Big Bizz, better known as Bezel and Sonny Boy; two young flames from different cities with a common goal; making rappers “Get The Fuck Out The Wayâ€. That’s why it’s the subtitle of their street mixtape “From the N-O to the M-O†hosted by DJ Cuddy of the Derrty Dj’s and Hot 104.1 in St. Louis. The duo met in 2002 and Bezel, who traded in his basketball for a MIC 5 years earlier, influenced B (Sonny) to pick up the MIC as well. The first song they recorded was over Lil Flip’s “Game Over†instrumental, and they performed for the first time at the YMCA. Fast forward 5 more years to 2007 and they’re on “Da Murge†Mixtape & Tour presented by Ozone Magazine and hosted by DJ Q45 of BET’s Rap City. After one listen to their street anthem “Stand Up†listeners will be captivated by Sonny’s thick New Orleans drawl and dead serious demeanor. Once you add Bezels cocky delivery and the bread invested in them its classic like peanut butter and jelly. Even though the hip hop styles of their respective cities are different, New Orleans and St. Louis share in common a grimy street reputation. According to Disclosure Newszine columnist P. Lawton, “They go real hard and street with their beats and rhymes but they have enough charisma to sell it to the masses.†With a team of producers such as 10x plus platinum producer Stevie “Blastâ€, Producer, Songwriter & Singer Fedarro aka “Freq Beatsâ€, East Saint Louis own Club Banggaz & with executives Roland Page and Tydrell Stevens of Black Pearl backing them, the support of two cities, alongside a newly introduced style of gangsta bounce music how can Big Bizz lose?
