Diary was born in 1989 and raised on the east side of Austria. The Rapper and Hip-Hop-Beatmaker has successfully graduated from high school in June 2008 and is now preparing to release his debut-album in October 2009. The versatile musician combines old-school-elements with an innovative touch and English lyrics.
Stefan (real name) decided to call himself "Diary" after he realized that writing is like keeping a diary for him. In his songs he's dealing with social problems in his environment as well as with what’s going on in his own life.
The believing artist with the cross-pendant likes to play Basketball in his free time and is active in supporting a certain community in his home country: The upcoming album will feature a song to promote “Black Austriaâ€, a campaign to eliminate prejudices towards black people living in Austria.
Diary's experience in the business, his passion for the art of lyricism and his indisputable talent for creating unique sounds allow him to strive against the stream of Gangsta-Rap - he doesn't chase a trend, he sets one. You're about to witness another chapter of Austrian Hip-Hop-history: Diary.
Diary has composed beats and written lyrics for several major-label-artists including Johnny Draztic from Black Wall Street Europe, pop-singer Kevin Sundl and many independent artists like the Microphone Phenomenalz (Luckie's number one hit on SoundClick "Rain On Your Head").
Achievements:
- Over 600,000 downloads on an early Hip Hop Farwest Mixtape.
- TV- and radio-appearances in Vienna, Linz and Burgenland.
- Frontpage-articles about Diary's music in local newspapers.

You're about to witness another chapter of Austrian Hip-Hop-history: Diary.
