Uunited Acoustic Recordings

About Me

UUAR, pronounced "war", was concieved of by Thuy Pham and Miho Aoki in 2004 when they decided to create a music label in addition to their fashion label United Bamboo. The first release was a book / compilation cd of New York musicians that was curated by the multi-banded musician Hisham Bharoocha. Soon after they began working with musician & producer Rusty Santos and the three of them have since continued to release music. There isn't any philosophy behind the record label. Currently the number of releases UUAR puts out each year is fairly limited.
