About Me

i live in a world of ideology. i have come to find out though that ideologies suck. or is it that they're okay, but only if practiced in moderation, thereby rendering the idea of ideologies non-existent, much like god in the hithchikers guide to the galaxy. it all kinda seems like a waste of time.i'm generally easy going and i do like to think a lot, mainly about stupid things like how blues clues make the world better and life in 2470 when the gene dupes oppression of the biologicals drove us underground and polar ice caps melting. but mainly i'm a bookkeeper and a mom.

My Interests

vincent d'onofrio, dogs, accounting, music, watching vincent d'onofrio movies, bamboo plants, being happy, figuring stuff out, logic puzzles, moose a. moose, pharmaceuticals.

I'd like to meet:

anyone but heffalumps and woozles, and assholes.

Music:

tori amos, arctic monkeys, muse, the frames, mark geary, the smiths, morrissey, elliot smith, david gray (the earlier stuff),

Movies:

happy accidents, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, kiss of the spiderwoman, punch drunk love, all of me, the big lebowski, bring it on, stranger than fiction, the whole wide world

Television:

family guy, monk, house, lots of animal planet shows like there was one recently about black bears and the different ranges of emotions--any show that can put a different spin on animals. as a general rule though, i don't much like shows about insects or snakes.

Books:

the silmarillion (jrr tolkien), little altars everywhere (rebecca wells), and various short stories such as hills like white elephants (ernest hemingway) and woman on a roof (doris lessing) and quite a bit of hans christian andersen stories.
