My name is Grahame, and I am a 26 year old guy from Edinburgh, Scotland. I was brought up during the good old 80’s (great cartoons, amazing toys, Bullseye!!!, cheesy music, and skateboards) - what a time that was!! If I could relive any era of my life so far, at the age I am at now, it would definitely be back then!
After six years at probably the worst high school in Midlothian (but still great fun), I went off to Uni in Aberdeen to learn to be a pharmacist and also learn how to drink, mess around and live without my parents. Four years, countless hangovers and late nights in the library later, I managed to come away with a 2:1 Master of Pharmacy degree, of which I am extremely proud (mainly because it was soooo bloody gruelling!).
After this, I moved down to my current home town, Carlisle, to start my pre-registration training post in the local hospital. I had an amazing time and found that I was lucky enough to have landed a job in a place with some of the nicest people I have ever met, so I applied for a full time position as a pharmacist, which I managed to get. At the moment, just over 1 year into my qualified career, I am enjoying it a lot. Carlisle is not the centre of the universe, but it has a charm that I have come to love!
Music plays a big part of my life, I like nothing better than chilling out with an album on, going to concerts, or sitting with friends discussing anything and everything to do with it. I would like to think my friends see me as dependable and trustworthy, and I value friendships above anything else.
I love to meet new people, share stories and experiences, laugh and have a good time. It would be great to meet any like-minded people on here to talk the world on fire with (as long as it’s not pharmacy related!!)
