About Me

Hey there, I'm Jake. I'm a musician and private music instructor in the central NJ area. I play guitar, as well as bass, keyboards, drums, alto & tenor sax, mandolin, upright bass, and a little cello. (Pretty much anything that is capable of making music!) I am currently the bassist with Angel Vivaldi. I also do rhythm and lead guitar for various projects, as well as doing some solo material every now and again. I also have many other smaller collaborations that I contribute to here and there and am always looking for more. Basically, music is what I do.

A little about me:
I was born in raised in NJ. Lived in Manville (and a few months in South Bound Brook) until I was 15. My family then relocated to Tucson, AZ. I lived in Tucson for about 11 years, minus a 6 month stint back in NJ in 1996. I relocated myself BACK to NJ in 2004, and have been focusing on my music ever since. I currently live in Watchung, NJ.
Random Facts:
I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in early 2001. Spent the first half of the year kicking it's ass with the gracious help of my friends and family.
I have perfect pitch. I've known this since I was young, maybe 7 or so.
I have been growing out my hair for about 14 years. It is WELL past my waistline (see pics)
Despite my looks, I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs.
I love driving, and I especially love cross-country road trips.
I am obsessed with Amy Lee.
More to come...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

George Carlin, Kevin Smith, Seth MacFarlane, and loads of musicians. I'm always down to meet new people, so I'm down to meet anyone really. Especially musicians, women, women musicians, etc. :)

My Blog

It was 13 years ago today.

Quick note to throw out there for myself, and a handful of my friends.  It was on this day (June16th) in 1996 that I left Tucson to come back to NJ.  I left with most of my belongings packed into m...
