Worrying is like a rocking chair...

About Me

“Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.” By John Maxwell. In my personal experiences in life I've come to believe that to be true. This is why i focus more on how I can change the negative aspects in my life instead of dwelling on them. Like I always say, worrying is like a rocking chair, you can do it all day but it won't get you any where. I feel like this sums me up best because I'm so laid back and easy going. By the way I'm Eric and welcome to my page. I am very athletic, I love playing basketball and going to the gym. I am also very social and make friends really easily and have friends from all different walks of life. Some of my hobbies are as follows; I love Surfing, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Camping, Fishing, golfing, capoera "Brazilian dance fighting", and just enjoying the outdoors. Well as for my scholastic front, I'm currently going to the community college in my area, Truckee Meadows Community College, and I'm working on getting my Business Management Degree. Currently I'm taking Information Systems, Business Math, Business English, and Supervisory Management. So, if your in any of those classes, or even if you just go to TMCC message me because I hate studying alone! As for the living situation, I'm a born and raised Nevadan, right here in reno, and I love it so much that I would not have it any other way. I plan to own multiple properties here, and in neighboring states. I've lived on my own for about 3 years now, and while I enjoy the freedom, I hate the responsibility. I am extremely family oriented and if you don't like that then good luck trying to get close to me. I have two brothers and one sister, all of which are very special to me. I am a nerd at heart or so I'm told; I still play video games when I get a chance. Ya i know what your thinking, Im too old to play video games, but oh well. I also love fast food, even though I probably eat too much of it and spend waayyy too much money on it. I love all kinds of music, you can find virtually every genre in my MP3 Player. I love playing my acoustic guitar. I actually am still in the learning process right now, but I'm getting better with the help of my roommates who are very talented musicians. Oh and I use youtube too... HAHA I know it's lame but it's really easy to just look up what you like on youtube. I'm actually a Youtube junkie. I really don't have a favorite band, but I'm willing to listen to all the local bands that play. I especially like songs that I can really relate to. Sometimes I listen to KT sing and just want to slit my wrists while I swallow draino in hopes of drowning out the sound of her amazingly talented vocals. That's me in a nutshell, for more just write me..

ERIC

From the Old Norse name Eiríkr, derived from ei "ever" and ríkr "ruler". Danish invaders first brought the name to England. A famous bearer was Eiríkr inn Rauda (Eric the Red in English), a 10th-century navigator and explorer who discovered Greenland. This was also the name of kings of Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

ERIC is the #33 male name in the US.
