Im a crazy cat!! love going out with the girls shoppin, clubbin, just generally havin a laugh.Im the agony aunt of my girlfriends if ever they got problems they talk to me. In between bein crazy n givin advice i spend most of my time at uni studying theatre and media which i love and aspire to become a pr in media.
Overall im a good person who's not afraid to take risks. I like to help people wherever i can and ill always be there for ya no matter what. After all thats what friends are for arent they?.My career began many years ago when I was 11 I joined acting classes at the Alexandra theatre in Birmingham. Then at the age of 13 I was selected to start running workshops for younger children on weekends. I loved the responsibility and took pride in every session I held. A short while after that I started working at the Custard Factory in Birmingham doing acting workshops and so forth which was fantastic. At the age of 17 I joined the Royal Oprah company which is based in Birmingham. I did this by going to an audition, I then had a letter informing me of my acceptance. Working for this company requires me to participate in various productions throughout each year including a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London which was filmed for a live broadcast on BBC3. Since then I have enrolled at Coventry university and I am now in my 3rd year studying Theatre and Media. This is a great course for me as it gives me the opportunity to take three months out in the summer to do work experience. I presented on a radio station for a few months over the summer which i loved as i got a chance to try so many different things. I aim to work in the modelling industry for this time also. In December/January 04/05, I was selected to model for Black Hair and Beauty Magazine Christmas issue. This was my first real photo shoot so it gave me a great opportunity to show my skills in front of the camera. Then in February /March 05 I was asked to model again on a full page spread in the magazine. I would say modelling for this magazine has been my most outstanding achievement so far in my career. I also acted in a film named 'bombay dreams' which should be hitting the screens end of this year. My goals from now onwards include getting as much experience as possible, ie. doing lots of media based work, including acting and modelling in order to maximise my versatility and knowledge within this industry. I am a hardworking, reliable, confident person with an extremely positive professional attitude. My interests include travelling, fashion, public relations and meeting new people. I have overcame many obstacles to be at the point where I am now, university being the main issue. However I have learnt to adapt to this and I am now progressing well in my career. I have been most satisfied with my ability to remain focused and positive with any task that may be asked of me. I know exactly where I want to be and in order to get there am putting 100% into everything that I do weather it be auditions or photo shoots, paid work or unpaid work. Everything I do is another stepping stone in my career and I will not stop until I am at the last step.
