But It's A Dry Heat

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm still getting used to the idea that I now live in Vegas. My address has been changed, I've gotten the new Nevada driver's license and changed the car insurance but I still feel like this is all a dream I'm going to wake up from and that at any minute I'm going to wake up and have to shovel. I'm learning how to network, and by that I mean, I'm having drinks with a lot of people I don't know who have been introduced to me by other people I don't know all that well. The first night I arrived one of my young cousins said, "you're part of the family now!" and it almost made me cry. I've never been around kids that much, being an only child who was raised without a neighborhood, so to suddenly have two young kids around all the time is daunting. I'm learning how to end the "Why?" conversation gracefully without resorting to throttling. Current priorities: finding a job, and figuring out where I'm going to watch Red Sox games.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
