Hey peoples. I'm Erica from Brooklyn, representin the borough hard. I sing R&b and there's nothing in the world that I enjoy better than performing. Everything that I sing, I write as well. I've been singing since I was 7. Ever since I heard Stephanie Mills, I knew that singing and writing was what I wanted to do. Diana Ross, Micheal Jackson, Mariah Carey and Mary J Blige also influenced me to pursue becoming an artist. I've been recording my own demos and shopping them around since i was 16. I came very close about 2 years ago when my demo got in the hands of a VERY important man at a very prominent major label. He said I got the voice, but he didn't hear a hit on the demo. I've been blocking everything out and going hard with my writing ever since that day. It's not easy out here people, but I ain't giving up. I've performed in numerous talent shows where I tore the house down and won 1st place. I've been on countless mix tapes as well. I've sang hooks for upcoming rappers that are signed to major deals. I also began writing songs for other artists as well. In the midst of everything, I recently discovered that I can rap. My hip hop bangers will be on my page very soon.
