Sometimes in my half-waking half-sleeping state I dream of sitting in front of a grand piano and doing what Maxim does best. But when I'm fully awake, I only wish my fingers could do it even just as good as Mr. John Legend would.Sometimes in my half-waking, half-sleeping state, I dream of pumping the way Nicole of PCD would. But when I'm fully awake, I only wish I could groove even just as good as Maja Salvador would.Sometimes in my half-waking, half-sleeping state, I dream of belting some notes the way Kelly Clarkson would. But when I'm fully awake, I only wish I could reach some notes even just as good as Sarah Geronimo would.Sometimes in my half-waking, half-sleeping state, I dream of taking over Kate Beckinsales' roles so I could be paired with Hugh Jackman & John Cusack or better yet take over Sandra Bullock' characters so I could be paired with Hugh Grant & Keanu Reeves. But when I'm fully awake, I only wish I could substitute for Bea Alonzo so I could be partnered with Piolo Pascual & John Lloyd Cruz.Sometimes in my half-waking, half-sleeping state, I dream of sliding my fingers the way Mr. Santana does to his guitar. But when I'm fully awake, I only wish I could hit my guitar even just as good as Jason Mraz would...Nah...Actually my dreams are pretty simple. They could begin with a plain starbucks coffee & a krispy creme doughnut or some photo-op with a celebrity and have it autographed. Get a little serious with finishing college & passing the board exam. Get even a little more serious like securing a career & finishing some graduate studies. And the most of sublime of them all would be me & someone "yet to come" walking down the aisle.So far, these dreams are yet to be fulfilled. But for now, those moments in my half-waking half-sleeping state, the joy they gave me...felt like enough. =)
