Located right next to LSU, the North Gate Tavern is the premier venue for live music in Baton Rouge. With events scheduled nearly 6 days a week, we definitely have something you're in the mood for almost every night. From Thursday to Saturday, The NGT showcases some of the finest live music the city has to offer. Whether it's a local up and coming band or a regional touring band, we'll always leave you entertained. With drink specials daily, we offer over 40 different import beers and 10 beers on tap. More Music, More Drink Specials, More Everything... and it's all right outside the north gates of the greatest school in the world, LSU. See you there...
Starting in November, North Gate Tavern will be bringing back an old favorite. Electric Open Mic Night is back with a vengeance. Every Wednesday night, join us for NGT's Wednesday Night Music Club. Drums, amps, mics, cables provided. All we need is you. No cover and great drink specials all night. Come out and network with some of LSU's finest local performers, and add a little spontaneity to your lives.
