Hope: to desire with expectation of fulfillment
and Desire: a strong wish: LONGING, CRAVING...So there is a longing for fulfillment based on the possibility that it(an event) has occurred before. Can you set a watch by the promise of hope? Without any of the factors that faith seems to provide; a belief in something at best is only hopeful. Hope can be something that can creep up on you with a non-doubt reality that will eventually leave you in the plane of a surrealism.Jason-add something here!
