I love original live music. I find great wisdom, thought, and energy in music. It is an art. "Don't play what's there, play what's not there."-Miles Davis. Miles is speaking more about life than he might have known. The "Perfect Beat" by Afrika Bambaatta can get my freestyle groundwork going...Check out Gloritone, Evenrude, The Andy's,Let Go, Fred Green, Seth Gooby, Shamsi, Ghetto Cowgirl, Honeybucket, and The Gin Blossoms on-line. Speaking of THE REDWINGS and PISTONS you will like my Lake Orion friend Brian Blush (You will love his signature guitar, and might know it from King of the Hill). From in depth sunrise-tequila- drinking discussions on life, politics and women with Doug Hopkins inside of Chuys in 1992 to summer long pool parties, and live music shows at the Electric Ballroom from 1994 to 1996, and HAYDEN SQUARE & BALBOA in between, you can bet I have been involved in some fun. Between 1990 and 2002 I have probably introduced a number of husband and wives, and networked countless relationships-friends, or life-long. With all of that I simply love the music I get to listen to, and the music my creativity inspires!

FOR YOUR INFO: Some of you might know that Rolling Stone Magazine has been kind to me over the years, but THINK ABOUT THIS-In 1991, when Rolling Stone interviewed Dylan on the occasion of his 50th birthday, he gave a curious response when the interviewer asked him if he was happy. He fell silent for a few moments and stared at his hands. 'You know,' he said, 'these are yuppie words, happiness and unhappiness. It's not happiness or unhappiness, it's either blessed or unblessed.' Leave it to Dylan to force us to look in the mirror...Do you like what you see? I feel very blessed!
Anything with Steve Martin is cool."Crash" took my breath away. "Better Off Dead," "A Christmas Story," "Sixteen Candles," "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," "Bourne Identity," "Rushmore," "National Lampoons Vacation," and a friend of mine likes her Razzles and introduced me to "13 Going on 30!" Amara and Mikayla like "Scooby Doo and The Monster of Mexico" and they call their sister the "Chupacabra." Poor "Noona." I collect DVD's and have a ton of VHS tapes. Excellence I can reach for, perfection is God's business."-Michael J. Fox
