Los Mismos are vocalists Pedro Velazquez and Eusebio Cortes, drummers Jose Pepe Guadarrama and Pedro Sanchez, guitarist Joel Solis and keyboard player Roberto Guadarrama -- decided to form Los Mismos. Their debut album, 1996's Juntos Para Siempre, featured the hit "Me Esta Doliendo Dejarte." The following year's Te Llevas Mi Vida was followed by Gracias Por Todo later in 1997. Los Mismos began as the acclaimed and world famous group Los Bukis. After years of a successful career, lead singer Marco Antonio Solis decided to pursue a solo career in 1995. The remaining members, vocalists Pedro Velazquez and Eusebio Cortes, drummers Jose Pepe Guadarrama and Pedro Sanchez, guitarist Joel Solis and keyboard player Roberto Guadarrama, made up their own band called Los Mismos, as in the same members of Los Bukis. Their debut album in 1996 Juntos Para Siempre featured the hit Me esta doliendo dejarte and the following year Te llevas mi vida made huge splashes on radio waves everywhere. The success of the band continued with Gracias por todo in 1997. Two years later, Los Mismos released Encuentro con el mileno which was followed in 2002 with Sin mirar atras. To date the band has made a name for themselves and have released countless albums and had several hit songs including Me esta doliendo dejarte, Que bonito, No eres facil de olvidar and Todo me recuerda a ti.
With the separation of the best Mexican pop music group THE BUKIS a new group was born they called them THE SAMES ONES(Los Mismos or the same ex members of THE BUKIS)that try to adapt the same musical style. "The day that our singer Marco leaves ,we will not be THE BUKIS anymore. He will need from us as we will need from him too. Because, we are a group of people that have known each other really well and I see this separation pretty difficult or remote to happen. These were the words of JOEL SOLIS(guitar player) in one of the interviews that they had with UNIVISION TELEVISION NETWORK. Unfortunately, if this seemed difficult or remote to happen it did happen and JOEL SOLIS and EUSEBIO CORTEZ are not members of THE SAME ONES(LOS MISMOS) anymore.The BUKIS's fans have diminished for Marco Antonio Solis as well as for THE SAMES ONES(Los Mismos) because, it is not the same . For some reason the singer(Marco Antonio Solis) is not the same one. On the other hand because those right hands that helped Marco Antonio Solis with his compositions are not there anymore.

Performers Los MismosThe San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival committee is proud to announce the participation of two great Mexican bands that will highlight two nights of the festival.
