Hamilton Farrow, a.k.a. DJ Ken-Ohki, has had a passion for music all his life. Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Hamilton has been picking up different instruments since his early youth, from drums through guitar and finally the saxophone.Different musical genres have been important influences throughout his life; his current interests span across rock, hip-hop, latin, reggae, and all the way to jazz. Having followed electronic music since 1995, he found his love for Drum and Bass shortly thereafter. A true musical renaissance man, he has incorporated his eclectic love of all music into his style of spinning. DJ Ken-Ohkis current work runs the gamut in technique from techstep to dark, jump up to ragga, and jazzy to old-school. Presently, DJ Ken-Ohki is continually working on new tracks, collaborating with his friend and colleague DJ Remington in NYC.DJ Ken-Ohki has spun at various venues, underground parties, and raves in cities such as New York, Washington DC and San Francisco. He has spun with such well-known talent as Hive, Gridlock, and Echo. Recently Ken-Ohki has been working gigs from Baltimore to Washington DC at venues such as Shorty's and Nation Night Club. His time is also spent doing a number of Drum & Bass Radio shows on Witness The Sickness and Jungletrain. Since August of 2005, Ken-Ohki has been runnning his own WTS Radio show, brining in talent from as far north as New York and as far south as Virginia. He now works with Heider on their new show "Mystic Elements", on Jungletrain.net, taking the stage for a larger audience and more possibilities. With a global perspective on music, he has taken part in various scenes and is now making his mark in the DC area and worldwide.
