I am still a full time college student. Besides the usual games, party, or whatever, I'm getting increasingly interested in topics of physics, cosmology, religion, philosophy, sociology, and especially politics. I know it's taboo to get into such topics, but I am a firm believer that we don't have to settle with things as they are. Why do we let small things like race, religion, sex, or economic status get in the way of change for the greater good?
I'd like to meet other people who ask the most important question in the world: "why?" This question is so important because once we start to ask why things work the way they do, why things are the way they are, or why someone does something then we can truly understand the world around us, and possibly, change it for the better.
Uhhh, this is a tough one. I like The Foo Fighters, Stabbing Westward, Eminem, Mos Def, Linkin Park, Jay Z, Nickelback, Tantric, Young Buck, D-12, Kanye West, Evanescence, The Offspring, Stephen Lynch, Our Lady Peace, Adema, Ludacris, The Foo Fighters (again), The Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2Pac, Outcast, Limp Bizket, Greenday, DJ Scratch, A Perfect Circle, Tool, 50 Cent, System of A Down, Disturbed, Blink 182, Gym Class Heroes, Flyleaf, Lacuna Coil, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Nonpoint, Chevelle, Korn, Three Days Grace, some Reliant K, Tenacious D, and Less Than Jake. Actually, I just love music in general, except country.
I like comedies and action flicks the most. I can't think of any stand-outs that I have seen recently.
The movie "Network" is pretty old, but it still speaks volumes about todays television media.
Yep... still only textbooks. Pretty exciting stuff.
Howard Beale, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Keith Olbermann, Ron Paul, Barack Obama, and anyone who demands accountability from their government. Also, anyone who has served, is serving, or will serve in any branch of the military. Anyone who asks why is also my hero because they will be the ones curing diseases and solving problems in society.
