I'm 29 years old and moved to Summerville from RI in October of 2005. I had come to visit relatives that live here a while back and fell in love with it. The prople are nice for the most part and you can't beat the weather. I kinda miss the snow but certainly don't miss shoveling. Since I've been down here I haven't gotten the opportunity to meet to many new people outside of my place of work but am hoping to change that. It took me a while to get situated but think that I am finally settled in and ready to make some new friends. I have a 10 year old son that I have part of the time. He's the best. He love's it down here. He has more friends here than he probably would have had up in RI. Not to mention the fact that he can actually go out and play without having to worry about getting hit by a car.

My Interests

Computers, News, Sports (mostly baseball; GO RED SOX!!)

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people that I can be myself around. I like to hang out with people that have a good sense of humor and that I can laugh with. I'm still relatively new to the area and would like to get to know people that will show me the sites. Oddly enough, most of the people that I have met aren't from here, they're yankees like me, lol.

Music:

Lifehouse, Nickelback, Hinder, Papa Roach, Evanescense, Chris Daughtry, Linkin Park, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, etc, Pretty much a whole variety of stuff.

Movies:

SCI-FI, Action, Drama's, Suspense, Horror Movies. I really love Armageddon, Ladder 49, Backdraft, and All of the Lord of the Rings movies.

Television:

Lost, Sports, Heroes, NCIS,Smallville, there are plenty more but I'd start to sound like a couch potato.

Books:

PC Magazine, Computer Shopper; Don't really read many books. Rather wait till the movie comes out.

Heroes:

Not so much heroes as people that I admire for all of the BS that they have had to deal with. This would include my Mom and any men and women that have to prove themselves every day in their line of work, you know who you are. Good for you for sticking with it. You make our lives better because of your sacrifice and courage.
