Many consider Dynamo Starr a versatile producer. It..s hard to pin point the region he comes from by listening to his works. At times you might think that he is a R&B producer but his style can change from Neo Soul, West Coast, Dirty South, East coast, and Baltimore Club music. With all these different styles of music Dynamo Starr maintains his own sound in every song and keeping a cutting edge on his own sound to separate himself from all the other producers out there that will normally pick a certain style of music and sound like the most popular producers. Born in Baltimore City and raised in the suburbs of Baltimore metropolitan area. A young Dynamo Starr would spend lots of time with his Uncle in Baltimore who was local DJ, Who went by the name of Doc Starr. At the age of 8 Dynamo Starr was influenced by all the music his uncle play on turntables or on his guitar (Funk, Jazz, Rock, Hip-hop, Pop, Reggae & R&B.) When Dynamo Starr turned 14 his Uncle gave him a Boss Dr. Rhythm drum machine that had only 6 sounds. Dynamo..s mother bought him his first set of turntables, which were belt driven Gemini turntables. At age of 15 Doc. Starr was sneaking Dynamo into Nightclubs. At 17 Dynamo was djing his own parties from high school to college. With his newfound wealth from music Dynamo decided to invest into music production equipment starting with the MPC2000, Mixing boards, computer, music software & better turntables. His peers took notice of Dynamo passion for music and his ability to influence any crowed with the music he would play or make. 22 Years of age Dynamo had two Baltimore club songs on X105.7 mix show and he had a lot of tracks playing in local clubs by other DJ..s. At the age of 23 Dynamo Starr made his first attempt at putting a hip-hop song on the radio with at the time was one of Baltimore..s hottest Mc who had several local hits. The song would play during the mix show hour on 92Q but never made it to heavy rotation. Twenty-five years of age Dynamo went to work in the Middle East during the Iraqi war It was part of his plan to advance his self in music as well as life at faster pace. In Dynamo..s over seas experience helped him to expand his musical influences from Europe, Middle East & Africa
