Berent Moe – The story so far …
Berent Moe – who has inherited his musical genes from his dad – started his musical journey at the age of ten in Kristiansand, Norway. His first recollection is his father Halvor playing jazz on an old piano. Fourteen-year-old, Berent Moe handled the guitar pretty well and was the musical director of a local rock band. His life in those days merely existed of a Gibson Les Paul, a Marshall stack and a record player. When Berent Moe was 18 years old, he discovered his talent for producing and song writing and has been part of the Norwegian music scene ever since. He moved to Oslo to work as a programmer at Disclab Studio together with Norwegian top producers Jørn Dahl and Hans Olav Grøttheim. In 2002 he founded the studio called Audioklinikken – a complex that consisted of 5 different studios- in Kristiansand, Norway. He then produced and co-wrote Norwegian artist Erik Faber's debut hit-album "Between The Lines". Four top-10 hits were the result, including a 2 position in Norway the following year.A long battle with illness forced him to take a break from the music business, but not from the music. At the beginning of 2008 Berent Moe founded BPM Productions and is back to stay!
