Its not as easy and glamorous as you think....Rule number 1---- As much as you give yourself to him/her.you must understand that you will always come SECOND to his/her music. A good way to deal with this is by just supporting..and not overcrowding him. When he gets to he point of his career where all of his goals have been reached then there is a big chance that you will become number one in his life...he does recognize that you was there for him.Rule number 2--- If he says he is in the studio or practicing or anything that means he is doing what he does.DO NOT argue or complain with him just say ok..babe call me when your done .when we get in the zone all we want to do is what we love distractions and questioning us just makes us real mad cause we are not doing wrong we just doing what we love. If you are understanding of this you can best believe YOU will get a phone call immediately after he is done.Rule number 3 The infamous groupie issues if your man is doing something that puts him in the spotlight where many of the opposite sex can admire you must be prepared for this. When you see him being friendly with his fans.understand that this whole business is based around politics you may want him to just brush them off but he cant fans are what makes this industry work without fans..nobody would be anywhere. Instead of complaining and arguing with him about this take the time to look at the big picture.all of these other admirers do not wake up to him do not speak to him regularly they do not know his real name They do not go to sleep after hearing his voice---and they are not held,loved, and kissed by him. [(in most cases..;-) ] u get the point. Also if he is still on his way to being where he wants95% of the time he is not worried about the admirers only he is worried about his next step to get where he wants..you really only should worry when he is at MTV status. Then thats a different story..and I know nothing about that. Lol.Rule number 4---A.D.Dlol. A lot of talented focused musicians have if not full blown a.d.d, they have some sort of similar symptoms. Understand that our minds are constantly jumping around and thinking of solutions to problems and ways to better our careers.. So if you two are at a dinner date for example.and you guys are talking and havin a great time then all of a sudden he gets quiet and it seems like his mind is somewhere else.its because it is. But its not your fault you didnt do anything wrong he is just doing what we all do. Trust me im sure what he is thinking about is worth itand you just gotta deal wit it.Rule number 5----Dont sleep on ya boy! Although he probably hears complements from a lot of other people.nothing means more to him then hearing it from you. Pay attention to his music and skillz.make it a priority to memorize all of his routines or beats or songs or whatever he does this is so important nothing is more upsetting then when somebody else can easily notice some a difference in his music and the one person he shares it with the most cant. True story I hate that shit. Lol.
