The year was 1975.....Ford was President and escaped two assassination attempts. The Vietnam War ended. A First-class stamp was $0.10. SNL premiered, with George Carlin as its first host. The VCR was first developed. AND...I, Leiolani("The Beloved Child of Heaven")was born in New Rochelle, New York to two humble, hard-working Tongan immigrants, who found each other half way across the world. At the age of 3 months, I became an instant world traveler, journeying across oceania to New Zealand to meet my maternal grandfather who was having major surgery at the time. He recovered and he and grandma were most pleased to meet me, their 1st grandchild! By 9 months, I was walking and ready to see the world. By 2 years old, I was a true road-warrior, traveling all along the coast with Mom & Dad on Dad's painting gigs - upstate NY, DC, VA, GA & SC. Mom and Dad liked VA and so now here I remain. I'm clearly a traveler. I am insanely serious about my work. I'm a true friend and love my family. Some believe me to be very easy going and some know me to be too hard & overbearing especially if I care. I am coming to realize that no one will be just like me, which just means I'm truly SPECIAL!
