I am a 53 year old Veteran. I spent 11 years in the United States Air Force. My father committed suicide when he was 36. Then my son committed suicide when he was 27. I'm disabled with severe back problems (2 surgeries) heart problems (triple bypass) diabetes, (my brother and sister died of cancer in the last 4 years),And now my other brother has lung cancer, and he had part of his lung removed, Now another tumor was found in Jan 2008 that has to be removed, and my wife has come down with 3 diseases since Jan 2006. I use to be a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I use to go out of my way to help people and make sure everyone else was happy at my expense. Don't do it. You will just get screwed in the end. From what I have experienced kids used to love and respect their parents. Now they just love them for what they can get out of them, or how they can use them. If they can't get what they want they will just yell until they get what they want like a 2 year old. Even though they may be 24. One very bright spot was just meeting my brothers daughter Courtnee on 7/7/07 at her wedding.
