A Life Lived In Fear Is A Live Half-Lived

About Me

DragonImages

First of all, I'm happily married. So much so my wedding ring doesn't come off except for life-threatening surgery, so I'm not really interested in finding Ms Right Now. Four kids have been in my adult life and allowed me the honor to be their father, and it’s been an honor and joy being that, and a great disappointment when I have failed them. No matter how they view me, I dearly love my kids.I've lived a life of darkness, bad decisions, and violence at times, but somehow God got through my stubborn hide and I've accepted Christ as my Savior, so I'm not at all interested in being converted to the worship of colored stones, alien saints, or shrubbery. I’m not a perfect Christian, just a man trying to get beyond what he has been to reach what may be. I’ve known pain at the molecular level, and if you tangle with one of mine I’ll facilitate your introduction to the same. That’s a promise. Please don't waste my time with inane discussions about some pop star having a horrid affair, because 1) I won't know who you're talking about and 2) I really don't care. So why am I on Myspace? Well, I hope that I can find other people with their own minds and get to have some intelligent chatter with them, kind of a cyberspace coffeehouse chat without the rude waitress screwing up the order. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, just to be their own person (NO CLONES PLEASE) and check the excuses at the door.Oh, and one last thing: I promise I won't lie to you. Hope you'd extend the same courtesy to me.Still here? Amazing..........

I'm going to Tucson Sunday for a week-long firearms instructor academy. I'll have to stay at the academy, so it's like being back in the barracks, only without beer or pizza delivery. If you stop by a...

No More Prison Guards

I truly hate the term "prison guards". It keeps propagating through the media and the uninformed public, just as outdated and jaded as "stewardess" and "mail man", but there is no outcry for a change ...
