Fr. Amaro

About Me

Yes, Fr. Amaro is a real priest. This music is for you to enjoy. Hopefully, you will find some inspiration through it. There is more at www.fathermaro.com along with more information. It is my hope that all who come here find some inspiration from the music presented. Share it with your friends and neighbors. But most of all, love your neighbor.Priests come from real lives to come to the fullness of their vocation, which takes a life time. We come from real parents, grow up in ordinary ways, and often come from ordinary backgrounds of society. Fr. Amaro is no different. A former night club and stage performer at night, day-time jeweler and watchmaker, and parish music director. People often think that "experience" is a "good thing" for a priest to have. While that might seem like a good thing, remember, a doctor doesn't have to get sick to cure an illness. And, illness doesn't always supply what's needed to be a doctor. As the old saying goes, "Experience is the best teachers for fool, wise men don't need it."Still, the "suff of life" is very real. And, for the fun of it, you can see these pictures that show Fr. Amaro growing up during his "seasoning."

Band Members: Fr. Amaro uses various accompaniments and all original or public domain songs. Copyrights are pending with all original music. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Most accompniments are either from Jaime Hamame or Fr. Amaro through use of "Band in a BOx" and edited through the use of programs called "Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer" and or "GoldWave."Be creative! If you want to give glory to God through music, these are excellent and fun programs. Then use Windows media to coordinate sound tracks with video.................................................
Influences: Well, Fr. Amaro has now moved. He's deep in the desert of southern California near the Arizona border in a town called "Needles." It's a bit change from the montains. But God's people are all loved equally and need to be served. Part of the parish actually lives in Arizona, while the rest are locally from Needles. Now, it's time for a new advanture in serving the Lord.

Thoughts on Civic Responsibility

As Christians, we have the responsibility to teach God's laws. "Thou shalt not kill" is pretty clear. And yes, war kills. The death penalty kills. Neither comes anywhere near the 4000 abortions done i...
