About Me

... studied jazz guitar and delved into jazz "language" with Sandro Gibellini and Riccardo Bianchi. he performed with an octet led by the famous italian guitarist Franco Cerri. In 1999 he attended a jazz guitar seminar held by Jim Hall. He has been invited to perform at "Rassegna Giovani Jazzisti" ("Young Jazz Musicians Festival") in Verbania (Italy) where he played with Paolo Birro, Alfred Kramer and Piero Leveratto...then worked in the italian jazz scene cooperating and performing with musicians like Robert Bonisolo, Marc Abrams, David Boato, Paul Randolph, Alberto Marsico, Bruno Marini, Valerio Abeni, Massimo Chiarella, Paolo Benedettini, Jimmy Weinstein, Nico Menci, Enzo Carpentieri, Ettore Martin, Leonardo Rigo, Tommaso Cappellato, Michele Polga, Francesca Bertazzo, Andrea Lombardini, Matteo Alfonso, Federico Casagrande and others... he performed with the Fenice's theater string section in a concert dedicated to the music of Broadway... he performed with different groups in several clubs in Italy, Austria and Germany. During a recording session in Germany he personally met the renowned DJ and Producer Christian Hornbostel who is also the "mind" behind the international radio broadcast "Housepacific"... Cooperating with Christian Hornbostel, Lorenzo Aldino, Jochen Pash and Midnite Fellas he produced and performed on several songs for the german labels "Caballero" and "Tenor Records". In 2005 Michele and Christian produced and worked with the U.S.A. label "Soulfuric" in Miami... He also cooperated with the saxophone player Carlo Atti. Michele and Christian have been included into the "Wax-Wars" compilation of the prestigious London label "Defected Records". The tunes in which he performed appeared in several charts and have been played by Djs like Grant Nelson, Morten Trust, Ralf Gum, Brian Tappert, Bobby & Steve (House FM London), Sheldon Prince and John Julius Knight. In July 2005 he joined the New York City band "Brohemian" performing on the following tracks of the album "Post Modern Garden" by "Yah Supreme & Brohemian": The Tivoli, Older & Wiser, Donny, BK Bon Vivant.
