Helen England trained at city college Manchester, gaining a BTEC in Performing Arts, and has had classical singing lessons for over 13 years.
At 18 Helen became extremely popular performing on cruise ships, singing in production shows and soloing in the piano bars!
On her return after gaining much experience, she set out to win the hearts and minds of the North West club circuit, bowling them over with her vocal diversity. While becoming the lead soloist for Preludium working with performing arts at open air concerts at Stately homes, attracting audiences of up to 10,000 people nationwide, as well as appearing in Turandot at the Bridge water Hall.
After many requests from her vast audiences to perform at weddings, both the wedding ceremonies and the reception, she realised the direction in which she should go, which led to the creation of her own business Oratorio soon being asked to appear at Cheshire bridal fayres, leading to her performing at some of the most exclusive weddings and corporate events nationwide, singing anything from jazz, west end musicals, soul, rock and pop, whatever is requested.
Now her vocal range has led to her being a member of Cheshires most popular 11 piece soul band, to supporting Troy (Trombone Shorty) Andrews and the Orleans avenues, singing jazz funk.
She is now extremely exited at being asked to perform at the Ajax stadium for the Vodafone cup, with her sometimes partner Melanie Lodge, where it has been recognised that the two complement each other vocally and visually.
