O.G.C.M GUNN CLUB WE THE STREETS

About Me

Young Pound is the future of hip-hop. This awesome group consists of Jude “J-Burna” Francois (17) and Jeffrey “J.P” Prophete (17). These two met in middle school, both of them were doing their own thing. J-Burna was in a group named 2-4 Mob and J.P was getting a big buzz with the unknown group called Pound 4 Pound. They soon linked up after they were asked to do a song together. They finally got together and made a neighborhood banger called “back it up”. Although they were better off making music as a duo Burna introduced J.p to his actual rap partner J.Street and they added J.P to 2-4 mob. That same day two other members were also added. A manager who later split them up due to the age difference approached this five. Leaving J-Street with the other two and J-Burna and J.p together. After the split, the so-called manager left them for ghost. Another manager approached them and he vanished off the face of the earth with all their music. The two were still hungry for the game although depressed they kept grinding. At the time, they were only 15 so getting a job was out the subject. They did what they had to do to get studio equipment; an old computer, and acid pro as their recording program. (Now they are recording with pro tools). This somewhat of a studio, was placed in J- Burna’s house. They recorded over 100 songs in the period of two weeks. After viewing this progress a friend of theirs gave them the name Young Pound meaning, they were young with many hits. After releasing their second mix tape that was self titled they caught the ear of present manager Kenny “HatianBoy Alize” Desavrines. He gave them a call and from there they have been making steps forward. From there the ear of Ariginal the General was caught. “These guys are Hot,” said Ariginal. He currently has the biggest buzz in Fort Lauderdale, a city were no love is shown towards local artist. After making a couple of songs with Young Pound he decided to make them apart of his up and coming label Gunn Club Entertainment. They have released a mix tape titled “Can’t Knock Da Hustle” which has sold 5,000 copies hand for hand. Gunn Club is currently in a couple of negotiations for distribution deals. It now has been two years since Young Pound has started, now they are finally making forward moves. “We are the future,” says J-Burna. J-Burna is also promoting another group called “The Racketeers” consisting of E-Boogy, Ni Ni, BIG, and Stunna. They also have some Out of this world talent he says. Currently Young Pound is working on their cuts for the Gunn Club Album titled “Stitches on the game”. It is now 2006, and they are looking forward movements. Get ready for the greatest says J.P. This is actually a group to look forward for. So one of these days make sure you keep your ears open. I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
