At only 19 years old, J. Anton Boykin is already affectionately known as the "Sax Sensation". J. executes his God given musical talents on the Soprano, Alto and Tenor Saxophones. Since the age of 10, he has been mastering the craft. His early inspirations include; Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Roland Kirk, Kirk Whalum, David Sanborn, and Gerald Albright.J's talents have taken him from his hometown in Riverside, California all the way to China and many other places in between. His appearances include: Ministering at Various Churches throughout California Ministering at Crenshaw Christian Centers Bluprint Sunday and again for their 2008 Watch service Featured artist at the Koinonia's Conference's 2007 "Jazzin in the city" With Kirk Wallum and Doc Powell Featured artist at the Inland Empire Jazz Festival 2007*Incl.
