She drew him in...the way she stood out in that place, like a lighthouse on a stormy night. She awoke a slumbering giant inside of him. He had to try and hurt her. The bad part of his mind had almost staked its claim. There was hardly enough goodness left to see her at all. Now, she haunts him. She won't leave him alone, even though they don't exist in the same world. She tells him of the times they have had together...but he knows she is lying. He's doesn't love her. He's never loved before.
She's got the rest of them working for her too. He didn't hurt that man. He didn't save that young girl. He's no hero. He just has headaches. He just dreams about a life some part of him is trying to live. He's got some sense though. He knows he's got to avoid Shane. Shane is the darkness to her light. Shane is the past, and Casey is the future. And when those two forces meet inside of him, only one question will remain:
Is it too late?
