Grace and Mike

Somtimes your nearness takes my breath away, and all i want to say can find no voice, then in silence i can only hope my eyes speak my heart.Mike and Grace met at a church retreat located at Lake Berryessa in 2001 at the age of 15. They talked a little bit at the retreat when the two got into the same group for a skit. Since then, their feelings grew for eachother. The retreat ended and they told eachother they would keep in touch, so they did. There was a party they attended at Manny DelaVega's house. It was a TAC get together. That night was the first night Grace ever held hands with a guy the way she did. She loved it! Time went on and the two liked eachother a lot. One day Mike told Grace over the phone that he loves her. At that moment, out of reflex, Grace responded with the same words. As Mike said it, he meant it. As Grace said it, it was just said to be said and not felt. As soon as Grace realized that, she pushed away and let go of Mike. (Remember, they were only fifteen years old) Years had past and things have changed. During those years Mike would come to church and Grace would see him and all her feelings would come back. This hapened once in a blue moon because mike was away at school. When they were apart they never forgot about eachother, but they were never together. Grace couldn't understand why all her feelings would come back every time she was around him. So one night, Mike was in town and the two made plans to hang out. They went to a movie and ended up holding hands theyway they did years ago. It is now the year 2005. It was that night Grace and Mike knew they wanted to be together. Five years later, at the age of twenty and ninteen, they made it official that they were truly ment to be and that they really love eachother. "We belong together"
