EVENEYE

About Me

Four strangers, all with birth certificates stamped "Kansas", cross paths under one roof in Brooklyn, NY during winter of 2006. A vivacious singer-songwriter/roller derby queen, a mad scientist guitarist, an intense and outrageous bassist, and a pensive and precise drummer fuse their unique talents and musical roots to form Eveneye.
Their sound is truly original and their collection of songs transcends classification. From Rock to Bluegrass by way of funk and reggae beats, Eveneye blends musical styles in a sophisticated fashion without forgetting about those who just came to dance. Mixing up tempos, dynamics, and intensity from track to track they ensure that listeners get their money's worth from every show.
Starting out playing modest gigs for friend's parties, Eveneye quickly sank its melodic teeth into the New York City music scene, captivating audiences at venues such the Knitting Factory, Galapagos, Trash Bar, Lit, and Arlene's Grocery. Eveneye is currently recording tracks for an upcoming album, which they plan to support by continued shows both inside the 5 boroughs and beyond.
