Red 7 Fury was initially a solo studio-based project that began in 2003. Furious Stylz, a producer/artist from NJ, named his new project R7F upon signing a contract with Silencer Records in O'Fallon, IL. In the ensuing months, many tracks were released and subsequently received solid airplay in the USA, Canada, and all across the world. R7F hit the playlists of well over 100 radio stations, DJs, and internet streaming broadcasts, gaining more and more steam and support each and every day.
Red Velvet Sky, R7F's first ever release, a 4-song EP single completely sold out of it's first pressing and received high praise and accolades from many reviewers, DJ's, and fans. It was recently voted one of the top 3 EP releases of 2004 by DJ IZ of Industrial Zoning. The EP was followed by the release of "The Depths Inside", the latest 13 track full length release from R7F. Red 7 Fury has received numerous accolades for their battery of “unsuspecting†cover tunes, including The Cure’s “Lovesongâ€, Danzig’s “Motherâ€, NIN’s “All That Could Have Beenâ€, and most recently, Ozzy and Lita’s “Close My Eyes Foreverâ€.
Red 7 Fury took on it’s new identity in 2005...one that has grown and evolved at a hellish pace. Bassist Ryan Walsh and Furious now form the core of the group’s creative controls and studio work. A number of live musicians have already worked with the duo on stage, including current members: guitarist Chris Matsinger and new drummer Craig Bottel. The search is now on for an alternate guitar player and a newly added synth player. R7F’s goal in 2007 is to pound out even higher energy shows utilizing punishing beats and synthlines, aggressive bass, and grinding guitar riffs. Vocals always encompass a kaleidoscope of emotions that have become a trademark of R7F's studio work, as well as their live show. R7F has developed its own style of Industrial Rock Music that is winning the hearts and minds of the underground at a swift pace. Wanna see what the buzz is about? Come on out to a show...
