About Me

I got into drumming when I was around 12 years old. I was fortunate to be in a school system with a great music program and to have an older sister (Kyra)who was a college radio dj. I was exposed to different styles of music through school and the eclectic mix of albums that my sister would turn me on to. Through school I was able try my hand at classical percussion, drum core, jazz, and of course local rock bands. My studies brought me through Berklee College of Music and The Rotterdam Conservatory of Music. Then I put the books back on the shelf and jumped at every opportunity to tour. I have always loved traveling and seeing new places so the years spent touring with blues, RnB, and funk bands have been a real pleasure. The highways and byways have led me back here to Boston where I have the fattest pad and the lovinest roommates. I have worked with many different groups here in Boston area having the oppertunity to play west african music, reggae, salsa, folk, rock and brazilian music.
