I'm a Bristol based MC raised on a diet of festivals and music culture. first got into the 'rave' scene on my 12th birthday when I was bought a record bag full of jungle vinyl by my parents. Having a family of dedicated junglists helped in the equasion.. I soon started DJing out at free parties, house parties an all that, til it dawned on me.. I was a shit DJ.
I always wrote lyrics & poems and really enjoyed the vocal interaction in a musical environment. Weather it's singing over deep house, going for it over techno or hosting a d&b set, I knew from the start that for me it's all about the M-I-C!... I've picked up a fair few residencies for promotions that have been and gone and been lucky enough to MC for some of the best artists d&b / breaks have offer.. For me it's not about being the G on the mic, it's about sharing the buzz with the crowd and takin the music to the next level.
Right now I'm working in the studio with some amazing people like Cinematic, Bill Riley and Solejack... Working mainly on d&b but also some nice soulful deep house.... MCing for nights like Concrete Dub, Out The Box, Livestyles, Beat Bristol (WOMAD Festival) and also getting bookings abroad. Moving forwards is my ethos.. I want to work with as many different people in as many different musical and cultural backgrounds as possible... Music & love is all you need!!
