Elvis Ilic, better known as Elvis Benait, is a 26 year old dj and producer. He was born in Serbia and is living in Switzerland since 1985, where he started his musical career 8 years ago. Like many other djs, Elvis began performing in several smaller venues. Very soon it became clear that this young man is something special. His unbelievable strong will and full commitment to the music puts him apart from the rest. His unforgetable club nights brought him a decent amount of publicity in Zurich down town, but Elvis wanted more... In 2006 he started producing his own stuff, in collaboration with his brother Danny Freakazoid. It all started with remixes of "Just Trippin" by Fedde Le Grand and "R U Sure" by MYNC. Their first original track "Tension" followed and was a huge success and on the playlist of many big names in the industry. With the remix of Eddie Thoneick's "Deeper Love", they showed the world once again what brothers are capable of. In the following year Elvis remixed "Everywhere" by John Dahlback, which was played by Pete Tong's radio show and very well received by the audience. 2008 could become Elvis' most successful year so far. You wanna know why? We tell you: He just signed the massive "Gate One" to Toolroom Records! Elvis created this wonderful anthem with his buddy Tony Gomez and they're getting support from everywhere around the globe!Elvis is a workaholic and it's no wonder that sooner or later he needed his own label to actualize himself. Dropit Records was established in 2007 and the first Ep by "The Batteries" was already a mind blower. Next on the schedule is "Pussy" and "Si apre e si chiude" by Veerus & Maxie Devine, including remixes by Danny Freakazoid and Tony Gomez. Last but not least he announced Tony Gomez' "Blind" with remixes of Robert M. and Angel Anx, which will be released in spring. This is only the beginning for Elvis Benait, so expect the unexpected!
