Parricide - Old School Thrash Metal

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Parricide was started in 1990. Drawing their inspiration from old school Thrash influences such as Kreator, Destruction, and Slayer, they played a distinct sounding style of fast, old school, thrash metal. Their first self financed demo entitled, "A Future of Suffering" was released in 1995.And so it began, an onslaught of advertising, promotion, and distribution. (Where was myspace or the ease of using the internet then?) A Future of Suffering was sold in 9 Countries and reviewed in over 100 magazines.T- Shirts, posters, and new songs followed. What never followed was a friend and replacement bass player who could fill the shoes of Thom. Parricide had all but given up on finding a second guitarist as well. And in the blink of an eye, it was over. Bob and Chris had officially called it quits in 1997 although they are still friends and jam to unreleased Parricide songs to this day!You can learn more by checking back with the Blogs every few weeks to get "a behind the scenes" look at the band members, the bands finest moments, and of course... the controversies that ensued at times.
