Erick Ledesma was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He obtained his high school diploma from the Central School of Visual Arts in Santurce, Puerto Rico. After a long period of discovery, Erick decided to venture into the world of the visual arts. Not long after, Erick enrolled in the School of Visual Arts at Syracuse University in New York. He obtained his bachellors degree in visual arts with a concentration in illustration and was awarded Most Outstanding Senior in Illustration in May of 2003. One of his pieces was selected and exhibited by the Society of Illustrators in New York City in a juried student competition show in April of that same year. Recently, Mr. Ledesma has shown his works in a series of magazines from NYC and Puerto Rico. His work has also been shown in a variety of places in Puerto Rico including the illustrious Puerto Rico College of Law. Now concentrating in the clients he has gained from all over the world, Mr. Ledesma dedicates his time to paint commissioned work about the city he loves. His work will be featured in the Magazine Arts and Wine, and a new show with recent painting will be unveiled at the new Puerto Rico Convention Center for the Arts&Wine Fair to be celebrated in October of 2006.For more information please visit our site at: studioledesma.com
